I ticked subs but I guess I was lucky that the wine is in stock. If it was cheap stuff that was subbed I would just refuse it

Just had my refund email for the 2 bottles £8.02 go figure. :rotfl:

Yep, we tried to get something back, or a genuine apology at the very least, and they just weren't bothered! None of the people we've spoken to on the phone care about whether we carry on with the transaction or not. I will be sending a VERY strongly worded complaint email this weekend, so we'll see if that improves the situation!

Good morning, just catching up, and you have probably already done this, but I would copy the boss into any e-mail you send following up initial unsuccessful attempts to get customer service help. It works, as long as you keep the tone polite but frustrated, asking for help to get this problem resolved quickly. Homebase boss is Paul Loft, and I'm sure he would take your problem seriously! If you Google managing director of Homebase you can get his e-mail, and you may also like to include your phone number. They may be concerned enough for one of the people in the boss's office to contact you to discuss possible solutions in person. It can take up to a week, but this method always works for me.

It is plainly ridiculous for them to expect you to hold onto broken items and wait months for replacements, and I look forward to hearing how this is all sorted out soon. All the best!

Well I was due to 'do my money' at some stage.

    Why £0.07?:(

8 items (7 different) on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Tesco

    CheaperSignBlue.gif+£0.59
0.01 x ASDA Root Ginger by Weight per kg£0.02N/A
0.17 x ASDA Bananas by Weight per kg£0.12£0.11
0.19 x ASDA Broccoli by Weight per kg£0.36£0.26
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Angel Cake£0.75£1.00
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Cherry Madeira Cake£0.75£1.00
2 x Cravendale Pure Semi Skimmed Milk (2L)£3.00£3.00
    1 x Kingsmill Crumpets (6)£0.50£0.60
1 x Kingsmill Love to Toast Toasting Waffles (6)£0.50£0.60
    Comparison total (compared products only)£5.98£6.57

Mbuys are on now but weren't at the time of my shop (the unearthly time of 4.30am). I even got a glitch on the piece of ginger - T's price (per kg) is a lot more than A's but returns N/A. Beggars even had it compare, even if it did elsewhere, from 2p on the comp. when it actually cost 3p - went SS and didn't want to get problems with it being too small to weigh but had numerous problems anyway (less said the better...) trying to get the shop through. They did round up their offer to 7p:(. Just shot down the theory - it doesn't always go from the time you did the shop.

So I'm not a Savvybuyer at all:(, but you knew that. These mbuys off and on - they're just a trick to get us to spend money:rotfl:.
