Now, Savvy not quite in the real world is he?:o, back to RL.
I know you mention 10p whoopsied potatoes - you people always do it better than me:o.
Yep, we tried to get something back, or a genuine apology at the very least, and they just weren't bothered! None of the people we've spoken to on the phone care about whether we carry on with the transaction or not. I will be sending a VERY strongly worded complaint email this weekend, so we'll see if that improves the situation!
And yes, Value potatoes were 6p a bag, and Maris Pipers were 10p a bag, a massive container of each marked down last night. The lady on the till said they all get thrown out now if they go out of date as the staff aren't allowed to buy them due to health and safety...
No wonder there are so many people who are 'freegans' now and take stuff from T's bins (illegally, I should add!). The amount that each store must throw away every day is horrific.0 -
Am i the only person not buying the spring rolls?
I've been getting kormas, jalfrezis and those chicken dipper things.
Nobody here will eat the spring rolls so I figured I'm better off buying things they will eat (those chicken dippers are good with chips for small ones dinners)
Would I be better off getting the rolls and throwing them away?
i also get the chicken my boys love them in wraps with salad so to me 1 pack does a separate meal for them so it is worth spending the extra as to buy the chicken would cost me more..LOL rhosynbach - I'm now stuck with an image of Disneyesque magpies parachuting down to Earth using Bridget Jones style big knickers!Aha! I get it now - rhosynbach's magpies are selling her pants to your crows so that they can disguise themselves and parachute into your strawberry patch!:D
:rotfl::rotfl: i have such funny images in my mind...0 -
