Got unexpected phone call from my Consultant's secretary whilst I was there. Apparently the barium swallow report suggested a CT scan if I'm still having symptoms, which I am. So they are doing the referral and I should get an appointment through soon.
I know a clear CT is the only thing that will put my mind totally at ease so I'm relieved in a way that it's going to be done sooner. When I last saw him he was going to make me wait until August.

Afternoon Logie am glad it has been bought forward for your scan :)its the waiting and your mind going into overdrive which is not good but is only natural to be worried

Typical. They have my DH's size but I know he wouldn't wear them. Well actually he might, but he's the wrong shape and they would look terrible. He needs a very firm guiding hand when it comes to matters of fashion :rotfl:
