    Debt-free and Proud!
I have a beautiful Peavey Predator electric guitar! :D

Totally stunned, my sister and her boyfriend (who was teaching me at the weekend) just walked in and said 'We've got you this stand for when you get a guitar.......you may as well have this to go with it' and gave me a guitar bag with my shiny new toy in as an early birthday present. Stunned. I keep looking over at it. It's jet black and super sexy :j

Now I just need to keep practicing!

Oh...(surprised), the earlier game was "less than thrilling" according to the BBC presenter. Well, I was thrilled by it, at times, so how can it be "less than" thrilling?

No doubt we experience things differently...(:rotfl:)

(Assuming that the presenter was referring to the same "earlier game" that I thought he meant, namely Brazil vs Mexico, as he wasn't completely explicitly clear:p.:rotfl::rotfl: "Earlier game" - which one?:p:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

No doubt indeed  I am utterly sick of the whole thing already :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Can I ask (I know you won't mind) do you actually enjoy the games? Or is more about how the tournament pans out, the stats etc. ?? Or just the being there and seeing it? :)

    Both/all three:D.
Listen... I must go as it's on now, with the Nat. Anthems!

I don't 'do football' but call it a "World Cup" match and it's different!
I have my chart out and like to enter the names of the teams in as they progress to the non-decided parts (not yet determined etc.).

It's not so much the stats. - but, yes, the fastest goals ever thing did come out last night!

I guess it's developed into a temporary (for the duration of the tournament) obsession for me, so I'm fine - and more than fine.
I'm glued and can't miss a match:rotfl:. Look, you're NT so you'll tire of things:p - I get more into them. Though, saying that, I discovered I had some cinema tickets (from Club Lloyds account - been obsessed with rerunning videos of the "Black Horse" all today:rotfl::rotfl:, not literally) - don't run out till well into next year - but no opportunity for me to go to the cinema till Friday 27th June (I worked it out) at the very earliest due to World Cup (unless I want a 'silly' daytime showing when the brilliant sun is out, which I don't!). Which made me think...do the cinema chains actually have any showings during England games, particularly if England progress? Hypothetically(). Presumably wouldn't be enough people attending cinemas if big England World Cup match on to make it worthwhile opening?

Right, match is on... see everyone later!:)

Yes, I enjoy the games! World Cup ones anyway (for me):rotfl:.

Savvy. I wonder, have you ever wondered what time Google change their daily images?? I was just admiring the world cup ones they are having lately, and wondered what time they changed them?

Replacing the constant end-to-end BBC News Channel every day:rotfl::rotfl: - I like to continue my 'constant end-to-ends', it's just the way my life goes. Constantly:rotfl::D:rotfl::rotfl:.

No idea. Look, we're in the middle of a game! Alright, 8 minutes in. No time to post re the news about interception of communications and how Google searches are "external communications" for the purposes of RIPA in the news:

See - you get a choice - that interesting statement or boring World Cup game:rotfl::rotfl:. See you later - I managed to make it to paragraph 138, before I began to tire - have to get back to it (hence why saved the link myself earlier) but needing a bit of rest from it as it even got a bit heavy for me by that stage.:)

You should come and live in my house for a while!
After the school toilet discussion we had a discussion about 'the longest day' and where the day ends and the night starts, and how we know it's not day and it's not night and how it's measured and what happens afterwards and clocks changing and.......all that

......sometimes it's better just wondering :o
