Re the new car "debate"
I bought a 9 year old volvo 9 years ago incl 6 Months Tax (£100) for £800, apart from tyres, brakes etc which no warranty will cover, I've never spent a penny on it!:D
so it cost me less than £100 a year...!!;)
Never been one to keep up with the Joneses!!:cool:

Re the new car "debate"

I can do better than that, bought a p reg honda civic when i passed my test in 2007, for £500 6 months tax, half tank petrol, didnt spend much apart from wear and tear, when some doughnut wrote it off for me in 2012 i got £700 from insurance:rotfl::rotfl: was a brill car had over 150,000 on clock and started 1st time every time:DSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

I have since inherited it.
