I had someone run into the back of my car, was parked at the doctors surgery, and when I cam back all the back end was smashed in, they just drove off and left it, no note at all.

Morning everyone. OH is also convinced someone backed into the front of his car, certainly there are 2 black lines and a scrape mark. And he is convinced it happened on Sunday while we nipped into Tesco. Even though he was parked next to no one and the bays are wide apart but its no use me saying it could have happened anywhere, even on the drive way.

So we didn't go far on Sunday afternoon, got 2 things from Morrison's and then turned for home. Its bad enough me being depressed and miserable but if is as well about his car ...

The other thing is that he will take it to the extreme. He keeps saying it needs to go to the garage for a re set of the electronics and a new tyre so he will book this.

But while its there he will have the scrape seen to as well which he will insists involves a complete new panel and a complete repaint job and at least £2 thousand and probably more as the garage see him as someone with open pockets - never comes back without a huge garage bill .

At that point all the angst I've been dealing with and holding in will explode and OH will get the full inventory of what has been annoying me starting with the total waste of money his car is, how much money it has cost us especially as the accident he had in it affected his no claims and everyone elses insurance premiums on our multi car policy, about why I am bothering to save tiny amounts here and there when he can blow thousands at the garage, more than we spend on holidays in a year, how he has no comprehension of fiscal responsibility and then it will just go off onto everything else that annoys me - kids, cats, house, garden ....

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    :kisses3: and breathe ;)
Once you have calmed down write it all down and show him it in black and white.
If that fails give him a slap :rotfl:

Wheres the guy behind in the white shirt got his hand ? And how the hell do they keep them up - do you think they've stuck Velcro on their spherical bits to prevent droop?

To be honest I never took as much notice as some on here obviously did
    Screensaver is it ;)

I had a banger that got written off by a van reversing into it when it was parked. He drove off too  Thankfully, someone in the shops next to where it happened witnessed it and I was able to give the details to the insurance company

Yes, it might have been a banger, but it was my banger and it was disgustingly inconvenient to have it written off

people are awful when they drive of a few years ago someone drove through the wall of a field we owned while speeding and got a break down to tow them away without knocking at the adjoining houses or caring that they were leaving a big hole in a field of horses so they could escape on to a busy road:mad::mad::mad:
luckily elderly neighbour realised and got them into the yard.
police said they did not know if they could trace the car dont think they were that bothered.. but luckily while oh was clearing the rocks from the wall he found the number plate,:D so took it to the police station and said now do you think you can do something...

what was worse turns out the lady worked with me in porthmadog her excuse was I would have phoned if I knew it was your land
