    Hiya.
    I'm a happy bear. Found 4x600g boxes of Milk Tray in one of my locals today. I had no intention of going in, but had bought a 4 pack of a drink on Thursday, and being good got the sugar free ones. They were yeugggh, so called in to swap them for the ordinary ones.
    It was after 3pm, so too late for whoopsies, but decided to have a quick look round and get another 2000 ccp's;) Had to pass the choccy aisle, so stopped for a look. Only £4 and £5 boxes of Milk Tray on the shelf, no 600g ones, but remembered to look up. Four boxes on the top shelf:j Took one through the ss, having hidden the other 3;) and ........result. 1p:j Dumped the shopping in the car and nipped back in for the three I'd hidden. I had 3p in my hand ready, and got through ss without a trouting.:j

    The painting in the hall, stairs and landing is complete at last. I went out today to grab some wallpaper samples. B&Q put two lines of holes through all their sample rolls now.:eek: Apparently it is done to stop people tearing off a strip to finish a wall if they have run out with just a small bit left to do, and don't want the expense of a full roll.:eek: (NB Homebase don't do this:p)

    Had a lovely meet with VT on Friday. Coffee in Starbucks, and a trundle round a few shops. Good fun in good company.
    Bumped into matty17r on Thursday after work. I was too late for whoopsies, but she very kindly gave me a bag of veg. Lovely lady.

    Can anyone tell me if the Airwick thingies are still working please, and who they compare against. Which are the best ones to buy?TIA

    Hope you are all well. Off for a catchup now once the coffee is made.

    Well done on your chocolate haul. I went to pfarm for the whoopsies today but was so busy talking to someone and missed all the boxes being brought out from the back! There was so many people around that it all just disappeared in minutes even though there was quite a lot. Apparently the person I was talking to oh fixes tills at weekends when they go wrong. He must be the glitch fixer!

    I don't think I want to ask:eek::rotfl:
  • Evening people, well it was quite a great day yesterday got to see my wee man in 4D at the scan & spend the day with my DD as well (supposed to have her today for my first ever Father's Day with her but she took unwell but still got a great day & some great presents & momento's courtesy of her & her mum). I'm amazed this time last year I had no access to my only child, yet now I've got my daughter when ever I want her & a son on the way! Bliss
    If only batman was here, he'd soon get you told

    Can you special people help me...I am trying to locate a little boxed set of children's books. There's about 5 of them in the set. One is a nursery rhyme book, one tells the story of a lady who went up in the sky with a red balloon and took a whole string of people with her...the postman etc, one is a counting book and another about the alphabet.

    They are probably 15 plus years old.

    Anyone any ideas
