They came very quick last week
Hi:o
all, don't want to disturb footie but wonder if anyone not watching could tell me if this is normal. Did my first c&c at asda last friday (8 days ago) and the payment of £48 was pending on my bank account until today. The actual payment of £28 was taken on Wednesday. The receipt they gave me had no prices on it for the stuff I bought. I have been checking the apg and it appeared about the same time as the £28 was taken and stated the evouchers were sent to my account but I cant find them. When I rang customer services (long story) they told me it would take a week after the apg appeared, making it about 12 days after c&c. I only ask because of your post Nerfy stating Apgs were very quick last week. Not sure if I can do another order in the meantime.
Many thanks if anyone can help0 -
:hello: Just popping in at half-time, looked earlier and we have a 20 minute break between football coverage after this one. And then a 5 minute break - how will we cope?:rotfl::D And then one ends and another starts:T:rotfl::rotfl:. Probably not back now till tomorrow.
And... I have a glitch!:D Not a best of all in the Elite style, but a glitch nonetheless!
Vs Sainsbobs
1 x ASDA Free Range Medium British Eggs (6)£1.25£1.00
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Fresh Cream Raspberry Turnovers...£1.00£0.69
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Family Dessert Raspberry Ripple...£2.00£1.84
1 x ASDA Smartprice Chicken Roll (400g)£1.00£1.00
These say 525g on msm and on the APG. They are comparing to a £2 offer at S on S's 570g. However, the A product is A CBY Raspberry Cheesecake 540g rather than 525g. It's one that says "Serves 6" on it. It worked out cheaper than S/P Vanilla Cheesecake even as it was at 525g, but at 540g works out better still!
I saw on msm/a.com that there were lots of other flavours at 540g but no Raspberry. I thought it might be a no-show therefore, as the only fresh Raspberry, this Raspberry Ripple one, on msm is 525g. However, the 540g is appearing on the comp. as the 525g. This works a few pence in our favour, as it thinks the A product is lower weight than it actually is:T but then compares, on weight adjustment, to a product of greater weight at Sains.:T but still within 10% range of the lower weight that it gives to the A product - want to appear as shortchanged in weight as possible at Mr A but with the competitor at more weight (but still within the weight limit) as that then adjusts the competitor's price down. B/C is 505141 374422 and I can get you a missing digit from the fridge... it's an extra number 2.
I wasn't too happy with Mr A putting the price of the eggs down:rotfl:. They also compare today to £1.00 at T (although I have T showing OOS on msm). 12 pack would work out better but, yes, we don't use as many as 12.
Don't forget your 3x 6pk Power Scourers vs Sainsbobs! Now's the time to be hammering those!:D:D:T:T:T:T
Vs Morries
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Family Dessert Raspberry Ripple...£2.00£3.49
Wonder if Lemon 540g will compare vs Morries at £1.74? Possibly not, but may be there I don't know.
:eek:Missing the football, must get back!:wave:0 -
Ooh, very interested in the Amex deal thank you (why do Amex never tell me about these deals despite opting in to all marketing?) ... I have 4 different ones
. Plus Mrs Anon has two
:). Plus in the past deals have been per card rather than per account ... Is this still the case please? If yes, double up with supplementary cards on both mine and Mrs Anon accounts .

So now back from a good day glitching and using up some coupons.
Have now used up- 3x Foursquare Tesco deals (£15 back off a £30 spend)
- 3x Foursquare Argos deals (£30 back off a £90 spend) - Bought 3x £30 next gift cards so got the discount off at next
- I then went to tesco used a £6 off a £40 spend, bought 4 preorder titles netting 2000 points for 20 quid spend and some other bits and pieces
.
- Also much closer to hitting the £2000 spend in 3 month limit on the mrs nectar amex card as used amex for all these transactions
All that's left for me now is to probably go hunting for some more preorder boxes but there was loads of them to be honest. no sign up but lots of boxes.0 -
Afternoon all.
Hope everyone is well.
I was in Leeds today and Belvita are doing their UK tour handing out samples. It wasn't one per person, it was more pick up as many as you wanted. In fact, it was empty a box of 20 packs into your bag if you wanted Eastern European (not racist or anything, but that is what they were doing and I followed suit!) style, so I did the same. The Belvita staff were happy with folk doing this too. Came away with 30 packs but walked round the haunts where the homeless folk hang and handed about 15 packs to them, so 15 still for me and free! Woohoo. I asked and they said they were going round the UK so keep your eyes peeled in your towns and cities.
Boots clearance shelves currently have the last No 7 gift with purchase and they are selling them off at £2 each. I am sure they are on 3 4 2 too. Also, men's toiletries including the Champneys range were all reduced to between £1 and £1.50, so keep those eyes peeled.0 -

Not everyone's interested in footie. I don't even know who's playing
I've only ever done one C&C, but I was waiting for a week for the vouchers to come in (last Tues/Wed they came in for an order collected the previous Thurs). I think once you've done apg you can put another order in, but you obviously can't use the vouchers from the last shop. I'm sure a more experienced C&C'er will answer the q betterFinal cigarette smoked 02/01/18

I've only just started playing the online Apg game but if your shop was Friday but payment not taken till Wednesday then maybe you won't get the vouchers till this Tuesday I think you will find0 -

I only did one T offer today - 2xbni deals, £9 pp and £5 back on 4sq so paid to take away .
I may use the others buying 2 pre orders for £10 - £5 back so 1000 points for £2.50.
For the Argos, may be worth buying Boots Giftcards. Use Boots to buy Paypal Giftcards which are really 3v online prepaid - may work?

PS - I am sure you remember TCB when you are signing up for your Amex- I got £60 fit my current Gold card which paid in less than a week :cool:0 -

could work there were some visa cards in argos but had a £4 fee per £50 gift card so gave it a miss. You'd still have made £22 profit on a £100 prepaid visa i gues. My wife workds at next and gets a 25% discount so the next vouchers were good for me.
Whats in the BNI deals? I've never been a big fan of the curry's at tesco what else is available?might take a look :P
