Ignore the lady dog. That sort of behaviour only comes from people who are unhappy with their own lives. Picking at other people's just gives them a rest from their own.

I think it's lovely to hear you talking about getting out and about, I think you've said it's been difficult for you sometimes lately? ( please don't let me have the wrong person ) So make the most of it, whatever you wear. It's about you and your OH having a good time. That's precious when you've had any sort of stuff going on that stops it happening.
