Just a warning you might need oil based dye to colour chocolate as normal dye makes chocolate seize. Other wise candy melts are really good to use (pre dyed vanilla chocolate). Hobbycraft is pretty good for that and sugarpaste is on offer there too at the moment (also worth signing up to their website for 15% off your first shop :)). Sounds like a lovely cake to make, hope it goes well! x

    :rotfl:

Good idea, candy melts it will be.
yes pink overload but loving the idea of pink glittery poos:T
Have ordered a peppa icing topper just in case my peppa is not recognisably but sure all will be fine.
I would bake and do properly but tiny kitchen and bad oven so making it the most cost effective way I can and pink butter icing to cover the cake takes alot of pressure off me.

As you know Savvy never sleeps:D. I'm currently working on a comparison list between two stores that I don't currently shop at:rotfl:, Tvs S [see now 2972 below]. As for Bob's your uncle I'll probably explain more later.

I've found a few more items for Avs S. Some silly ones too - such as Mates Intensity Condoms (12) A £4.99 vs S £5.00. Or, heaven forfend:D, buy T's Sequre Delay Condoms (12) at £3.00. Maybe a filler Tvs A, Tvs S or Tvs M, as I think T is the only one of the 'big four' to sell its own brand of condoms. (I've of course aware of recent RTCs on 18 pack condoms at 50p in S:rotfl:.)

I've added Vitalite Dairy Free Spread in twos vs S, under 'Dairy & Eggs'. :huh:It doesn't look like eggs to me and it's not dairy as it's dairy free! Also - you have to follow me to the letter of course - I Can't Believe Light Spread 1kg £1.50 vs S N/A. Only the Light version is N/A for S, not the Original one;).

Even though I've criticised the purchase of £1.50 spreads, as M was £1.39 before, and the Vitalite is even worse priced on that basis.

I've also found - perhaps a tempter to tempt me, and you - a cheesecake vs S. I think it works out better than S/P Vanilla is vs T. Nonetheless, S/P Vanilla has itself been removed from my own shopping lists as I eventually decided it worked out still too dear, due to frozen cheesecakes etc. being cheaper. Nonetheless, I think the Mr A Raspberry cheesecake I've found (should be on at S until 1/7) is the cheapest fresh cheesecake (excepting any glitch or DTD etc. that might remain to be found). It's now on post number 3 btw!

    This one:

Tesco Everyday Value Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake (375g)

    80p atStore_1.15px.png

    (21.3p/100g)

has gone down in price to that 80p recently. Frozen cheesecake. Again, possibly, but with great care, a filler vs N/A at A or somewhere. This Eday one does not come up on msm.co.uk if you search for "cheesecake" (the other, more expensive Eday Cheesecake does):( so you'd never know, unless you thought to search for "Everyday cheesecake".

    It's useless isn't it?
Search for "Cheesecake" on the Aldi side of msm (I'm just checking now to make sure my suggested Raspberry cheesecake really is cheapest per unit on fresh), and the cheapest cheesecake in Aldi does not come up.
Search for "Strawberry Desserts" and this appears:
Heavenly Desserts Strawberry Cheesecake (485g)£1.29 (Aldi), although it is a frozen one (and more expensive per unit than T's Eday Value one just already mentioned).

:naughty:Sainsbobs removing 3 for 2 offer from Salad Rape AKA "Cress" so deleting that from Tvs S now. Also S have gone nearly double in price on soft drink cans packs (6x330ml), 7Up/Tango etc., so they are being moved to Tvs M (sorry Northern Ireland, wait for one of T or S to go back on offer later again and then buy at the opposing store).

Bic 1 Sensitive Disposable Razors are also apparently Tvs M now, due to S's price shenanigans (and T's - T's just shot up from £1.00 to £1.40 according to msm, but pointless really if still £1.00 in M and if compares Tvs M when now buying in an M comp shop - again, sorry Northern Ireland, need to avoid T and S on those now entirely).

Sains shot up on the McVities Milk Choc Digestives twinpack as well, to the tune of £1.10 more expensive:eek:. Ridiculous how one day they are apparently worth one thing and the next they have an increase, costing 73% more (I think - can't remember how to work out percentages:rotfl: - aau1 will give correct figure!). What's with this 73% inflation? Anyway, they're off now, and no use on Tvs S or Svs expensive £2.00 T (were £1.50 in S) either.

CoT, Locarr, Em and PD please can I ask did you go through self serve or manned till?

I am wondering if it would have worked if I had gone through manned one.

Self service, and when you press sub total the glitch total shows.

If still working in the morning make sure you don't buy the mint pudding.

Just utterly ridiculous - this has gone from £1.50, to £2.00, to now £4.00 in T according to msm:

Birds Eye Fish Fillets in Crunchy Breadcrumbs (4 per pack - 400g)

    £4.00 atStore_1.15px.png

    (£1.00/100g)4 ClubCard points

Expecting us to PP that vs Sains' £3.00:rotfl:. Well, as T previously £1.50, or £1.50 each, according to msm, then no.

    Do they not?

I've only done 2 C&C to date but I wasn't asked for any ID on both occasions. In fact, I wasn't even asked what my name or order number was by the person bringing my shopping to me. I just had to enter my order number onto a touch screen just inside the store then wait for about 5 minutes until the assistant rolled up with my shopping and handed it to me. On both occasions I was the only person waiting so I guess they just assumed I was the right person.
