Not so good but still a bargain
I got 8 meal deals altogether for £14.40
Nice!! Well done:T
I know the expresses here don't do the meal deals or stock the items, so I didn't go on a goose chase.
I did do a boots order though, paid with points. Thank you Smartie :beer:0 -

I had a similar result to your second receipt COT, except I paid £11 for two meal deals. Dunno what went wrong as I sent my sis in after me and she got one for £1.32! Think I may have got an item that sent it askew??
Sister and boyfriend are laughing about their romantic night in for just over a pound :rotfl:
Even though my shop wasn't a total success, thanks for testing locarr. I've just been given some money for the wine so all in all only 'lost' £6
PD has reported successes out in the field at certain expresses so it is working!Debt free 6th December 2014

So I have come back £1.60 worse off than when I left home on the meal deal hunt.
First four I tried didn't stock it including the big one on the quay where there is no free parking in the evenings. Was so sure they would I coughed up the evening parking fee.
Finally found it in the most affluent area of P**le, had to walk past an estate agent with houses for sale for £1,750,000 and above.
Andto see that express stocked the deal so I off I trot to self service with 3 deals, I sub totalled after I scanned one through one but it only took off one discount so cancelled it all. Please don't tell me it would have worked if I had gone through to the end.

Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for the 1p milk tray boxes. I managed to get 2 boxes in an express tonight. There were 6 more on the shelf which were promptly removed, the manager said that he'd let me have the two I took to the check out. I told him that I'd been looking for the 1p milk tray for months and he'd hAve to fight me for them, he laughed a lot!
He was a lovely chap, but I hate that store!0 -
