    Does phishing count? ;)

Aww bless you. I had mine for two years before it got written off. I smelt burning in the car so I removed the fuses and the next morning I discovered some ba[STRIKE]r[/STRIKE]stard had bent the door back, opened it, tried to hot wire it and failed, then decided to rip the steering column out instead. I called the police to get an incident number and they laughed down the phone at me and duly informed me 'they don't deal with car theft in my area anymore'

I wish I left the fuses in, at least if they'd stolen it I would've got some money back on the good ol' 3rd party, fire and theft insurance. Wasn't all bad though - I removed everything I could from the car and sold it on ebay (windows, wing mirror, light, seats etc) and recouped £200 before it got scraped :rotfl:

Oh dear, least ya got £200. I was third party too, got £250 for my scrap, cost £200 to recover it and £70 for the ambulance to take me
To the hospital... Now I can lol about it, at the time I was distraught about the loss of my car and my freedom and the effect on my wallet....

    And ego! X

    :(:(:(

    Phyllis has been rehomed :(

I had to do it - last night she terrorised & attacked poor Dilys mercilessly :(
    Today Dilys was missing

    But...

A very nice older couple have her. I know them well & they have just set up home together :)
I went over with them & settled Phyllis in - along with Gluey her favourite toy.
All smiles so far on FB so fingers crossed.
If she does run away/escape she hasn't far to get back to me & no roads to cross :)

Dilys has returned & has hidden herself as usual as it will take a while for her to realise her tormentor has gone ♥

I feel sad :( but this is the best outcome to a difficult situation :)

You gave it your best shot. You can't do any more than that :A

For obvious reasons I haven't read back so apologies to anything I missed/sent ♥s to & who needs a hug/Happy Birthday wishes etc :o

Tonight has eased to calm & a little bit nervous :o

Tomorrow I'm getting a lift to Cardiff Bay as friend attending a conference in Millennium Centre :T
I can then catch train to Caerphilly & see Fourp ♥ for a few hours & then get a lift home again :T
He did request I purchase Camp Coffee & Jersey milk for him... Where?
So I have done an online grocery shop to be delivered to him in the morning ... without any discounts :eek::eek: :o

Glad to know you will be able to see him and give him a hug, don't forget the Elite hug too :)

As for doing an online shop for him without discounts, that is an incredible sacrifice, just shows how much you love him :)
