Supply teacher mortgage

Hi everyone,
Looking for advice on getting a mortgage as a day to day supply teacher. Doing this since April and love it, am working 4-5 days a week and getting about £440 before tax minimum.
My question is, if I go to a bank and am able to show say, 6 months worth of bank statements with these earnings, what are the chances of getting a mortgage? I really love supply but have been offered a job teaching adults which will get me the same amount of money with a contract, which will obviously stand me in a good position to get a mortgage. But I'd much rather stay in supply if getting a mortgage on proof of my earnings is possible.
Any thoughts much appreciated

You'll need evidence of a secure income and job. Mortgages last 300 months. So 6 months income is barely scratching the surface.0

Have you thought about Teachers Building Society? Go see a broker, we had challenging circumstances and my partner was a teacher but they found a home for us and we are due to complete in the next 2 weeks.0

Whilst not directly linked to buying a house, what are your pension plans? If you are doing supply as a career there will be no employer contributions or employee contributions - you should seriously consider a private pension and this will impact how much money you have for any mortgage payments0
