Pppay.com still show on their site that they are registered with the Financial Services Authority - a body that was abolished on 1 April 2013!0 -
Gave it a miss, if it is too good to be true ............ it's a scam!0

Hi, would this be a Seat Leon FR from Chippenham. I replied to the advert today, as it seemed such a good deal. The seller apparently moved to army base in Germany last week, she is a Cpl medic, which sounds all very credible doesn't it. Conveniently her IPhone isn't working, and the car is in a secure army lockup!!!
I can't go to see the car, but if I pay the £3200 into a pppay escrow account, the car and all the paperwork will be delivered to me, and only when I agree the car is ok, will the money be transferred to seller.
:rotfl:What do you reckon!!
When I insisted on seeing the car prior to any money leaving my pocket, the line of communication went dead. I reported it to Tradeit as it is obviously a scam, and they weren't surprised. I told them they should investigate this, as someone might well fall for it.0
