selling homegrown produce on stall - insurance?

Options
Help!

I plan to sell herbs and veg grown by me in my garden at a church fair where I have rented a stall.

Do I need public and product liability insurance? And if so, where can I get it cheaply? Ideally I'd like to get it for this one off event but it might only be possible to get it annually.

I'd also like to know if I can insure to sell to local shops like the butcher?

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Bonnie

I am not sure if the rules differ for vegetables and such, but I know that from selling handmade products on a stall, public liability is not required. It's just a good idea in general.

I know that in order to sell prepared food you must have an inspected kitchen and a license to prepare food there. Not sure if it's the same for "grown" food? I expect there is something, because things like safe storage of your produce and chemicals in the ground might need to be verified before you can sell to the public.
