Defaulted catalogue account made entirely of charges-Need help with APR and reclaim?

Hi, I have been receiving letters from DCA about an old debt. I sent a SAR and have all my paperwork. I spent £67 on this account, and made payments of £125, but I still owe £612 according to them! I defaulted on this account in 2009.

I have 37 charges of £12 on the account. How do I go about reclaiming them (so the balance is cleared).I have a spreadsheet to log them, but i'm at a loss how to put in the APR. According to the statement I have the monthly APR seems to be different each time, ranging from 0.76% to 15.11% at the end?

This account is currently in defualt and with DCA. It's defo not statute barred either, so I need to tread carefully. Any advice would be most welcome!

What do you mean by reclaiming the charges? Were they out of line with the terms that you'd agreed, or do you believe them to be unenforceable because they are illegal?

Hi Bill, there is no CCA so I cannot tell you about the terms I agreed to.

What I mean is, can i complain to them and say that if i were to pay it and reclaim all of the charges, plus interest, the account would be settled anyway, so can they write it off?

I'm confused by the term reclaim, as I haven't paid any of them, so how can I be reclaiming them....
