Debtor & returning to education

I am trying to clear the last of my debt and have £5500 to go, only I am returning to study in September and have consequently had to switch to a lower paid job for the flexibility.
In September 2015 I will be going to university and want to be debt free when I start.
My debt is on credit cards and I am looking for some advice on the most effective and quickest way to get this cleared. I am paying just over the minimum each month and have approx another £100 spare each month.
Can anyone offer some help please?
Thanks,
A confused 30 something student!
