isme charging for debt collectors letter

Hi all
I got behind on some of my catalogue payments last year (long story see my past threads for details!) and now all up to date or paid off.
However, Isme continue to charge me monthly for a £12 debt collectors letter (which is never sent).
I've tried to speak to them on the phone, but they were useless and cost me a fortune. (BT bill says £3.56 plus VAT)!
So I emailed them.
Firstly:
Dear
I am in receipt of your request for administration charges on your account to be cancelled.
These charges were applied as the minimum payment shown on your statements has not been made every 28 days as required.
I am therefore unable to cancel the charge.
It is in your best interests to ensure that the correct payment is made every 28 days to avoid further administration charges being applied to your account.
Details of the application of administration charges can be found in your catalogue.
Kind Regards
Jean Griffiths

This is crazy!!! What can I do? Do you think I should just accept these charges until its paid off (shortly within 4 months) or take it further?
I understand it was my fault I was behind last year but surely the last 4 months of statements where I was up to date shouldnt be charged this fee??
any comments suggestions and help with the awful shop direct group would be helpful.
thank you all in advance
