CCJ question

I had a ccj notice about 2 years ago, at the time i had alot of problems in my life which i dont want to go into. Anyway i now have these problems cleared and i want to find out about the CCJ i had as i have no record of it at all.

how will i find out the details of it ?

    You needs to check your file with the credit refernce agencies. See Martins article on credit ratings at the top of the page

    What I did, I got my credit file, it told me when and where the CCJ was issued, I then wrote to the court asking for a copy which they sent me in due course. As I had never recieved the CCJ (easy in my case as i was living abroad, I was able to get the CCJ set stayed and taken off my file, I did however make a full and final settlement. If I had not settled this the judge would have set aside the CCJ but all this does is take u back to the beginning of the process and a new CCJ would normally be issued.
