Bridal makeup - Dark skins

Hello Si,
Thanks for the information about the photographers, it is reassuring to know.
You would have thought I would be easy to find a decent makeup artist that deals with black skins, but no. I have searched on google, looked on gumtree, sent an email to a black beauty and hair mag to see if they knew of anyone. My last chance is to go round afro hair shops to see if they know of anyone, but would have like to seen a photos on a website before speaking to anyone.
Thanks again

Hi Susanna,
Congrats on the wedding!
I got married last Saturday in France and did my own make-up in the end as I was more comfortable with it. I have extremely pale skin and also wanted to ensure I looked natural and glowing rather than either the living dead or the tango-man. I found that Lisa Eldridge's make-up blog and video tutorials were very useful in recommending products and instructing on their use.
MAC cosmetics do a very wide range of colours for all skins from palest to darkest. Also try Fashion Fair (was set up by Iman) as it is exclusively for dark/black skins.
Good luck & enjoy :j
