Tuesday 3rd June - What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the Debt-Free Wannabe trail we do loads of big "stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the Gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free...
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending. :money:
Grrrrrr! something up with our internet browswer & I just lost my list! Will start again!
After 4 days off of work and getting my head together last night I began to dread it! 19 days and counting, it is just making me feel terrible
Happy Tuesday to you all!
DFW things for today:
* [STRIKE]check banking & cc statement[/STRIKE]
* pay cc x 2
*[STRIKE] check onepoll throughout the day[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]* work from home saving 30 miles & about an hour :T[/STRIKE]
*[STRIKE] rearrange supervision session with my staff member to conduct over the phone. Keeps it short and sweet![/STRIKE]
* prepare list of projects/work/tasks ready for meeting with manager on Thursday - finally after 8 working days of not getting my job I get a meeting with a senior!
* start job application
* do some portuguese studying, did about an hour with oh last night. Hopefully he'll be home around 45 mins before I leave tonight so we can do some more!
[STRIKE]* talk to friend I go to the class with and see if she is ok to drive for the rest of the course (5 weeks) due to change in financial situation. Currently we take it in turns[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]* vacuum[/STRIKE] & polish
* do a load of washing
*[STRIKE] submit meter readings[/STRIKE]
*[STRIKE] do an energy search[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]fill in Host Family appl[/STRIKE]
* if Kobo doesn't arrive today contact ebayer
[STRIKE]* speak to HR re pension sacrifice. Have only been in the scheme for a few months & it is next to nothing so might as well take it back to get through the next few months [/STRIKE]
* repot plants. Will do this in my lunch break
* go for 20 min run in lunch break. Haven't been running for months & months but feel I need it to keep sane at the moment
* NSD? Hope so!
Jeez I think that's more than enough to get me through the day! Have a good one guys

Hello All,
Today I have/will:
- have breakfast at home
- make packed lunches for all
- get lift to and from work
- check online banking and update spread sheet
- line dry laundry
- eat dinner from stores (risotto tonight with leftover chicken and free mushrooms)
Not feeling good today, partly because of hacking cough and partly due to May budget being in deficit (we spent more than we earned). We are doing OK (debts are reducing) but we need to do better.
Lunchtime now - going to go and sit away from screen.
Best wishes to all x0 -
