Hi all,
I've recently started making overpayments to my Nationwide lifetime tracker. I'm outside the initial 5 year period which had ERC / maximum overpayment conditions.
In April and May the overpayments totaled a little over £300. I've just noticed in the mortgage statement in online banking there's a figure of £50.81 listed as "Current total overpayment" but I'm at a loss as to where this amount comes from. Can someone please enlighten me?:o
Thanks

Hello
Is your normal monthly repayment £249.19? If so, when your June payments clears your overpayment pot should go back up to £300.Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)0 -
Ah I see now.
The overpayments must have added up to £312.06 (don't ask) so with a usual payment of £261.25 yet to register for this month, I'm £50.81 ahead.
Thank you!0
