  • It sounds very harsh about the car - I was allowed to keep mine and it was worth more than that. I do need it for work and for my son, but they didn't argue it. I had a face to face with OR shortly after my BR, because there was a tax figure that they didn't understand - quite rightly as it turned out as my accountant had given me the wrong figure (doh!). But I'm now nearly 6 months in and whilst it's hard (and I've just got IPA for 3 years), it's doable and I'd rather have to live on limited means that go back to the horror of the untenable situation I was in. I hope you resolve it all OK. Think of this way - they can't kill you and they can't make you pregnant - so it's not too bad!
