    At least they didn't pull the offer AFTER exchange!

    Personally, I'd consider it a luck escape and withdraw from the purchase.

    The first rule of mortgage underwriting is "can we flog it if we have to repossess it".

    This is the case with our situation, mortgage pulled when we were due to exchange, all the because there is a restriction on who can but it due it it being ex council, but why did it take them this long to tell us that? It was all in the survey report.
