Hi,
Not sure if this is the area for this question, but perhaps some kind soul can help me PLEASE, I am thinking of taking Andy Irelands AITradesafe forex training course, before anyone has a go, I know forex is extremely risky & I could lose all my money etc, etc.
I can not find any new relevant comments about this course as everything I put in google directs me to the course owners site. I would like to read some independent reviews from people who have taken the course & there experiences.
Any help would be most welcome, Thanks.

had a look on forexpeace army, which reviews most systems, nothing, ditto forex factory. It seems quite a new course, maybe that's why you can't find out much about it. The only 'warning flag' for me is there is no info on his actual site, so you can't find out what the course is about. It appears to be using indicator based signals, using his template on metatrader.
I've done a few courses, some helpful, some a waste of money, some out and out scams. On one hand a course is helpful if you know nothing about trading as it shortens the steep learning curve. There is an overwhelming amount of information out there, and you have to wade through an enormous amount chaff to gain wheat!
I don't know what experience you have, so I'll assume none and feel free to ignore otherwise.
Before parting with a dime I'd learn the basics first. babypips school do a wee free course which helps with terminology. then you can open a demo account with brokers and play around getting familiar with using a trading platform.
I tried for about 4 years, still trying, only I play with pence rather than pounds now. (The few pounds I put up were lost years ago, mercifully I didn't invest a lot, tho initially I planned too and would have lost it quickly)It is a simple concept, yet one of the hardest things I've ever done. Initially I was blinded by £ signs and get rich quick slick marketing courses, very soon realised how easy it was to lose money. Realistically very, very few people make it in forex. And ask yourself, if it was as easy as the course sellers make out, why are they selling a course? Why aren't they on a beach on the bahamas, counting their billions?
There is a lot to learn and you need time, discipline, commitment. money, etc, etc, etc. One thing for sure I've learned it magnifies every single personality flaw you have! There is a saying...'How do you make a million in forex? Start with 10 million...'

A friend has been trying to make a living from this for at least 8 years. It's not happening, and still he keeps trying.
I suspect the only people who make money from this are those who offer such courses.0 -

Trading is a zero sum game. For every loss, there needs to be an equal gain for someone else. Forex is the largest financial market in the world, and there are a lot of people who make a hell of a lot of money on the market, either for themselves, or their employer.0
