Look at this payplan income/expenditure form,
https://www.payplan.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/income-and-expenditure-form.pdf
Look on this part:
2) Your Essential Expenditure
Council tax [10 months]
Water rates [10 months]
Howcome council tax and water rates are given in 10 months?, and not 12 months ?

because council tax is generally set up for 10 months per year unless you request it to be changed to 12
no idea about water thoughThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Looks like the form has changed since I did mine with Payplan four years ago. My water is only spread over eight months and Council Tax over ten but I have always used those extra six months as my emergency fund boost. Payplan have never queried it. Amazing how those free months helped me get through. Nearly £350 a year in my case. If they had queried it I would have changed to a twelve month plan, I know my council do that for the CT now , not sure about the water tax.Paddle No 21 :wave:0

Where we live, council tax, until recently, was paid over 10 months, although its now 12 as default, same with water, paid over 10 months as default.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
