Hope he turns up soon, would be very upset if either of my cats went missing :-(The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Thank you marluc, gunsandbanjos, gettingready for your kind thoughts.
I am hoping he is shut in a shed. My husband is going round the neighbours today with flyers asking people to check sheds garages and outbuildings.
Really hoped he would be in when I got up this morning at 4.30am It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought. As a cat owner I feel your pain and hope he comes home soon.
A previous cat of mine went missing for 24 hours and came home looking bedraggled. It had been raining heavily and I wan't sure if he lost his scent.
Do you have a local radio station that can put the word out? Do you have the materials to print some posters to put up locally?
Hope he's back with you really soon.0

Fingers crossed that he'll just turn up, demand food and then sleep for several days. 0 0

Thank you all so much for your good wishes - they worked - he's back :j:j:j:j
 I'm so relieved I faint :o:o :o:o
He just waltzed in the cat flap. He is very nervy and rather dusty so he must have been shut in somewhere. My husband leafleted the village earlier today and that may have prompted someone to check their shed or garage.
Thanks for all your support - I really needed it - I was sick with worry. Cat flap locked now - he's staying in for a while :D:D:D It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought. :D:D:D It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.
