disputing a contract

I went to London to have some professional photos taken with my friend 4 years ago. We had a great day and signed a contract to recieve a CD of photos which we could select from and have professionally air brushed and put in a portfolio. We paid the £200 deposit and never heard from them again as I was living in Cyprus. I have recently received a letter from a debt company asking for £1500 for the whole package. I said I would pay half as I didn't receive anything else from them.
I got a copy of the contract which is in my name spelt incorrectly and my friend's name and phone number, together with my dad's address as they didn't want to put my Cyprus address. My dad's card details are on there as he paid the deposit. The boxes to say that I received the CD and the portfolio are left blank.
I am just wondering what to do now and am quite prepared to battle this out. Just need to know where I stand legally. Hope someone can advise me.:A

Don't pay them a penny; the contract was not fulfilled. I'm amazed you offered to pay half, I think you should ask for your £200 back.0

The contract was not fulfilled because the OP did not settle the outstanding balance, probably because they saw sense and realised that spending £2K on 'professionally' airbrushed photos was the worst idea they'd had for a very long time.Hope over Fear. #VoteYes0
