Eurodebt Charges

:o:o:o
I started my debt repayments two years ago through Eurodebt

No real progress was made and due to there incompetancy I received a CCJ

I have paid them over 3000.00 in charges and god knows how much in monthly management fees and am looking to recover some is there any letter templates you know of or sites which can help me

This 3000.00 could go towards paying off at least three of my smaller debts and feel it is still my money

  • Firstly, you need to cancel the arrangement ASAP and contact Payplan or CCCS to set up a free DMP. Your creditors are more likely to deal with them as the CCCS in particular is a charity directly funded by financial institutions to help people in debt.

Secondly, by charges, I'm assuming you mean your creditors are applying charges to your outstanding debt. Get over to the Claiming Bank Charges forum for help. There's a really good sticky that takes you through the process to claim them back.

Not sure what you can do about the management fees Eurodebt have been charging. Did you have a contract in place with them? If you can prove that the CCJ was directly as a result of their mistakes, then you could sue them for breach of contract, or write to them telling them you'll report them to Trading Standards if they don't return at least a partial refund of fees as a result of their errors.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi

is this a IVA, in which case you must get advice from a debt charity before you do anything, or a DMP?
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
