Except for deleting those comps that have reached their pre-known expiry dates, Liz can only update the index at the start of the thread from new posts at the end of the thread. This applies mainly to all new comps, but also to any "ongoing undated" comps that somebody discovers have ended. She can't be expected to test all the comps everyday to see if they are still live, it is up to the rest of us to leave a message at the end of the thread when we discover one has finished. Liz can then update the index the next time she has the time to do so.

As one eye says I update the comps with expiry dates every day. I don't actually enter the majority of the daily comps so don't know if any of the ongoing ones are still running. I've gone through them today & deleted ones that I think aren't running any more, although I've had to guess with some of them. If anyone can just add the links to those which have expired when they come across them I will gladly remove them

i'll post anymore expired ones I find. Surprised with how many members who must view this daily (ive only just started dailies again) who hasn't bothered to tell you.

liz is talking about the index, you seem to be talking about individual posts - please do correct me if i'm wrong. are you asking for individual posts to be deleted/edited when the comps are over? as that is what is seems you're asking for rather than discussing the index, which is pretty up to date

I thought this had been sorted. Liz has already deleted the expired links I posted yesterday, some being over a year old, so not pretty up to date as you say.
I was talking about the links within the first few posts, like the weekly, instants etc posts
