Have just found this site after a nightmare few weeks trying to get my financial affairs back on track. All you good people and great advice and comments have proved to be an amazing inspiration to me,I cannot thank you enough.:T
No lenders have been sympathetic to major changes of my circumstances and ill health in the past so I am now left with a mountain to climb but I am beginning to unravel the mess and plot some kind of comeback, starting with Abbey!
Has any-one else had Abbey trying to take a Direct Debit payment from the account for an Abbey loan, charged for lack of funds and then done the same thing again the same day? Total charge = £70 @ £35 each.(This is despite cash being paid in on the morning of D/D.) Letters are sent 7 days after, not much use then are they?
Good luck to all of you. Let's put the bully boys straight!!
