I'm trying to work out whether there is any reason that I can't buy books and Amazon and resell them on Amazon marketplace? I've bought all of the available stock of a particular product so am I allowed to resell them at a higher price? Any help is appreciated from a clueless start-up!

Amazon don't care where you get your stock, just watch your prices though. Have you thought about why you were able to buy up all the available stock? Was it because nobody else bought it?
If no Amazon buyers bought it at the lower price, are you sure you can sell it to Amazon buyers for a higher price?
If you were just lucky and snapped up all the stock before anyone else had a chance, are you sure the seller, or other sellers, won't come back with more stock for sale at the price you bought it for?0
