Solar installer Merseyside

Options
Hi all,
Got a detached house 35+ degrees from south ( towards East) new build Redrow, presume it is a 30o pitch.
8m wide and I would love Solar panels. Just been to Ikea and they quoted a 3KW system annual roof generation of 2451 kWh.
25 Hanergy modules. 120w
1x sma SB3000HF-30 inverter
Cost
£5300

Novice here so what should I expect.
My roof is 8m wide and they calculated that it would have an area of 48m2. (6mx8m)

Any help on this or a better installer would be amazing thanks.

Considering that a 4kwp system would cost around the same price then I'd say it's a bit pricey. Have a shop around and get some quotes, you only need around 25sq metres for a standard 4k system (16 panels)

You should be able to get 16 250W panels on there, which would a 4kWp system, which is a pretty optimum level.

Get some independants out to do quotes for you. A 4kWp system seems to be coming in at around £6k these days...

I've had a quote at £5300 for my parents E/W 4kWp split system but decided on paying £5700 for a slightly better inverter and better known panels(for what its worth) The OP's original price is definitely doable for a 4kWp system, I'd even go so far as to say that £6k is a bit strong a price now.
