I had an email 17th May saying I'd won from this comp:

Thank you to Laks for posting the comp :)

Despite several emails & facebook messages, and replies promising to 'fix' this urgently, (the last email was received on 9th July, last facebook reply was 29th May), the owners of the site still haven't set up my profile due to 'technical issues'.

I'm not desperate to find the love of my life online (!!) but when people offer a prize worth (allegedly) £120 surely they should at least be able to provide the prize to the winner/s?! (Which they clearly weren't able to do when he comp was offered and still can't do 3 months after the comp end date).

"And now you can win a FREE YEAR’S MEMBERSHIP worth £120!"

The initial email to me indicated there were numerous winners, ("Please excuse the BCC! I wanted to make sure I reached everyone today and this was the quickest way!") so I was just wondering if anyone else received the same email saying they'd won a year's subscription? If so, have you had any luck with getting a free year's subscription?

FINAL UPDATE!!
After chasing again and again I finally found out that I was NOT the main prize winner of a 12 month subscription (although this was never conveyed to me), but additional 1 month subscriptions had been allocated (no mention of these anywhere), and I'd won one of those. However, due to all the tech woes these were extended to 3 month subscriptions. I told them I wouldn't bother.

I haven't had issues with this prize, but contacting the ASA about another prize I didn't receive produced rapid results.
