Hen Weekend - Party Bags

Options
Hi,

Just wondering who usually arranges / finances the party bags at hen nights / weekends?

Cheers :p

Why do you need a party bag at a hen night?

If you mean the sashes, badges etc, usually the loudest boldest girl in the group ;)

I've just had my hen do this weekend. I bought sashes for my hens and some badges and glow stick bracelets. I knew 2 of my bridesmaids had said they would sort out things for me!

When we first met at the train station in the morning they gave me my personalised sash and some bride to be boppers! Was pleased with that. But then later when we got to the restaurant they had made everybody party bags. Wasn't expecting it at all but was a lovely touch! Think the pair of them must have gone halves on it.

Sash, boppers, straw, chocolate, shot glass on a chain, bubbles, dare cards, badges, balloons etc!

I would think the total cost is usually split between all the hens and added on to their activity price. Shouldn't be more than £5 each if you do it that way.

If whoever's organising it wants to do them, or the bride wants them - I would say it's up to the organiser to get costs and then contact all the attendees saying 'we're thinking of having party bags, cost will be £X each, if this is OK let me know'. You can probably do it quite cheaply if you go to a pound shop and depending how big the group is.

That said, I've never been on a hen do that had them and it would be a nice extra rather than a 'must have', so don't feel like you have to do it if you don't want to!

  • When I was maid of honour at my friends wedding I organised it all for her. I found some great ideas at

They have lots of ideas at a low cost price
    Have a good one
