I put them in a tub and freeze with no problems. They're not really wet enough to stick together

Yup, no problem at all in freezing in a tub, then when you need them you can actually just take one of two handfuls out as and when needed.

I do the same with grated cheese.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Me too. I find that breadcrumbs and cheese are so fine they don't need any defrosting to speak of.

I crumb all bits of stale bread and crusts. Perfect for basic stuffing.

With cheese I'm very lazy when it comes to grating cheese so I'd prefer to do a lot and then it's there to hand when I want it for sauces, topping atc.

I even add the crumbs left in baguette, cream cracker and biscuit packets.
If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)

I never ever freeze bread crumbs.
just put them in a sealed container and they last ages there..
My mother or grandmother never froze it either.
