Nationwide - Useless, Unorganised & Shambolic - Stay away

Im in the middle of a transfer of equity with Nationwide who ive been with for 6 years with no problems what so ever. Although once you have your mortgage with someone, you have very littler reason to ever contact them.
I contacted their branch during the first week of March, at what point i was asked to wait two weeks for a call back, not an interview a call back.
After my call i was asked to wait 4 weeks to return my bank statements which i already had ready, they could of been posted in 48 hours, never mind 4 weeks.
Ive rang three times to see the progress and told it was in the middle of processing and i didn't need to to anything else. While waiting for contact from Nationwide, i then received an email saying my application had been canceled. When i called to find out what was going on it was because i had failed to provide information within seven days of being asked... Except i wasn't asked for any information, not on the phone, not via email, not in person. No body had ever mentioned the four questions that needed answering.
To make this worse, when i sent my bank statements i also sent a long cover letter including my credit account, outgoings etc. All the answer they needed were on that letter, which ive not found out has been destroyed and not recorded.
I then called again for an update to be told my account could not be started again and i need to go back into my branch to start again. I flipped out on the phone and was promised a call back today by 1pm by a manager... Its now 4.30pm and no call.
I very very rarely complain about a company, Nationwide are the most unorganised organisation i have ever dealt with, please avoid.
