We put in an offer on a house which was marketed by the estate agent as a 2/3 bed house. The house has been used as a 3 bed by the current occupiers who are tenants and when the house was advertised for the rental market was advertised as a 2 bed.
Have had my survey back today and it says that as one of the rooms has no windows and no ventilation it cannot be used as a room and only for storage.
Has the estate agent misrepresented the house because of this ?

They have said 2/3 bedroom.
You can use the 3rd room as a bedroom if you want, even if lenders will not class it as one.
Did you go to see the property yourself?
Struggling to see what you are concerned about. They could call it a 15 bedroom mansion if hey wanted but common sense should prevail and tell you is not.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
