Virgin Money Mortgage

Hi there,
Any body else have issues with virgin money? I feel like I have to call them all the time in order to get them to move on to the next step. We have had nothing but problems and we need to exchange soon as our vendors are buying a new build. I am getting so frustrated with them.
Thanks!

Hi we had a mortgage offer from Virgin yesterday. We applied (through a broker) around 22 April. Valuation done 29 April. (Unlike some lenders they do valuation before looking at application in full)
Had to send off more wage slips towards the end of process for my partner who gets paid weekly as the ones we sent upon application were not recent enough for them (their delay though).
We have had a 90% mortgage and have had to sign a Help to Buy form even though we are not using Help to Buy. Unfortunately the mortgage broker put the wrong purchase address on it so that set us back a couple more days.
I believe that everytime new information is submitted to them they have 48 hours to process it.
Even though we went through a broker I had also been ringing them up to check on the progress. They were very helpul on the phone.
Our vedor was getting twitchy too so I told them this and they marked our case as Urgent. We had the offer within 2 working days of them doing this but I guess it depends what stage of the application you are at??
Good luck and I hope you get your offer soon.0
