Apologies if it's been posted before, but the offer looks good to me.

It uses bags though therefore will lose efficiency over time. My current Dyson is about 10 years old and is still as efficient as the day we bought it. I wouldn't buy any other make of vacuum cleaner.0

I bought a Dyson ball in 2010 and I can honestly say it is the worst vacuum I have ever owned. I switched to the Miele cat and dog in early 2011 and I am so pleased with it, I have 2 medium sized hairy dogs and 2 cats, Dyson didn't collect anywhere near as much hair as the Miele.0

the miele gets my vote specially with 2 mutts to clean up after

I have had both too, and much prefer the Meile. I wanted to like the Dyson more, but it just didn't work as well.0

I'm on my 3rd Miele in about 7 years. The previous 2 gave up after trying to cope with the outcome of light building work. I've also had a failed cable tidy and a fouled carbon filter. I'm no lover of Dyson, but i have my doubts about the reliability of Miele too.
A quick tip for the cat&dog lovers. You pay the premium for those power-heads. If you transfer them onto a new 2200W miele, you get exactly the same machine for about £100 less (for instance, the one in this forum post).0 -
I've got a Miele cat and dog and it's brilliant. It's 12 years old and very well used and still going strong. I had a Dyson which I couldn't even use because it dust up in in the air and me wheeze.0
