any advice

I recently looked online for a loan. Was looking at a fue different lenders. I didn't get a loan at the end of it. The Monday after I had 67.44 taken out of my Halifax bank by a company called quidfinder.com I asked the bank for advice and they said I need to contact the loan company myself. I hadn't applied to this conpafor a loan, later to learn they act as a broker for other people.
So I tried to contact them, over and over, even today. There phone line just rings out and says there voice mail is full so cant leave a msg. So I emailed them again. On there website ot states if you don't receive a loan they will refund u the amount minus 5 pounds. The bank reluctantly put in a dispute to get my money back bt havnt heard a thing of either partys. Had anyone else had issues with this loan company or any advice on what steps I can take?
Thank you

Your best bet is to invent a time machine, take a trip back and actually read the terms and conditions you sign up for.

Failing that, look on their website. Under the Terms and Conditions section there is a part about Fees, Cancellations and Refunds.

"If you would like to cancel You must Inform us by writing to us at Integrated Financial Solutions, Epsilon House, Masterlord Office Village, W Rd, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9FJ, United Kingdom".

It states refunds are made in 14 days. If you haven't had your refund by then, contact the Ombudsman.
"Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."

It's a pity people come here after the fact for advice rather than beforehand. A lot of time and effort could be saved.

As you've discovered, you have signed up to a membership with a loan broker. I use the term loan broker very loosley as I'm not sure how many people these companies match up with a loan.

By entering your card details into the website you have created a Continuous Payment Authority (CAP) as not only in there the initial joining fee but there is also a monthly fee. Contact your bank and get them to cancel the CAP before any more payments can be taken.

Write to the address Gaz83 has supplied telling Quid Finder you want to terminate your membership within the 14 day cooling off period...send it recorded delivery. Quid Finder should then refund your joining fee minus an admin charge (usually £5).
