Am I blagging this potential job?

So the JC have been getting on at me to apply for more jobs or they will sanction me, so I applied for a groundworker job(no qualification of certs needed) and said on my CV that I have quite a bit of experience.
Now I have used mowers(including sit on's) petrol strimmers, laid slabs, chainsaw and done other general gardening things, but I am by no means a seasoned pro.
I didn't expect to get any reply but got a phone call just there and he went through the details, everything he described I have done(albeit in very small amounts). I didn't even blag the call one bit, so he said he would recommend me for a further telephone interview.
I know I can do this job but it could be a bit uh-oh at first till I learn all the ins and out, lots of internet searching etc.
I would really like the job but feel from now on I will be blagging, what do you think I should do?

I think you should go along with it. As long as you tell the truth, the employer will decide if you're up to the task or not. If you haven't spelled out your experience and they haven't actually asked you directly about how much you've got, then more fool them. Surely your second interviewer is likely to question you directly about this and decide if it's enough for them.Sealed Pot Challenge #239

You sound a lot like me. lol
I've found myself in this position in almost every job I've done and in my experience honesty and enthusiasm go a long long way. At some point just tell someone that you really want the job and have done this stuff but not in the capacity they'd ideally want, however you're a very capable person and are sure that any lack of knowledge can be worked through relatively quickly you're just not comfortable feeling like you may be conning them into giving you a job.
Nine out of ten times they'll just tell you to relax and speak to them or another member of staff if you need help with anything, they'll also be reassured that you seem like an honest person who really wants to be there.
Or just don't say anything, keep your head down and google your way through it.
I don't know the people you're dealing with so it's really up to you to feel out which way you want to go.0
