How i got deposit

Hi All,

my solicitor has recieved my mortgage offer and is now asking for proof of how i got my deposit as to make sure theres no money laundering ? i got my deposit of 15 k thru 5k from equity 6k svings and 4k off my parents as i sold them my car, do i just send my solicitor bank statements as ive been saving around 18 months?

    Yes, the lump sums from parents are the most important parts.

    Tell your solicitor and ask them what they want.

    You wont need to provide 18 months bank statements.
