Moving mortgage application to a different property

Hi guys
Our offer was accepted on a property a while back and we applied for a mortgage with Chelsea building society. I paid the mortgage application fee last week and was told that the application will go to the underwriters and the bank survey is due to be booked in sometime this week.
We have now found another property which is more appropriate for us (better house and area etc) and will be looking to offer asking price. I wanted to understand how I should approach Chelsea? We will need more funding (approx £37k more) but during my previous application they confirmed that they would be willing to lend me more so this shouldn't be an issue.
Should I simply call them and ask for the application to be updated for the new address, additional funding? Hopefully its not too late in the process as the survey has not yet been booked.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
cheers

Yes just contact them asap I would say. We were buying a property but the seller pulled out, luckily we found another property within days. Had to complete some paperwork to change the details, but nothing too major!0
