My employer hasn't pay me

Hi, I need some advice. My employer hasn't pay my wages that I'm entitle to or even given me the 36 hours on my contract. It's been 3 weeks and they haven't even given me any notice or any information. So today I went to one of the managers and she said that the she thought that the boss had already come in contact with me about what they're going to do with me. Do I have any grounds to do anything? Thank you all for your help

If the have the means to pay, then send then a letter before action, giving them 14 days to pay the wages owed, otherwise you will take them to court for the money.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Are you a new employee? Is it just you that hasn't been paid?
You need to work out whether or not they're in financial problems or it's some kind of admin maff up. Do you know the answer?Sealed Pot Challenge #239

No, I've been with them for almost 9 months now. It is just me. There's no financial problem but I've noticed that if the boss does not like someone she does anything to get them sack but no one ever does anything and I know for a fact that I've done nothing wrong to violate my contract.0

they don't need reasons to dismiss you in the first two years so I doubt they are looking to get rid of you. More likely playing silly beggers.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0

Did every one else get paid?
I would ask for a meeting with who ever pays the wages, and tell them no money went into your account on (x) day, could they check their records and see if payment was made and to what account numbers.

I was paid the week before and I know for a fact that my bank account has no problems. And everyone else was paid.0
