Promised son i would get him Titanfall, when i saw the price i got a big shock..£44.00 ( think it's an age thing )....They were never that price for the megadrive.... anyone know where i can get this new for the best price....cheers

Plenty of Mega Drive games released for £40 or more, and larger carts (e.g. 40mbit (also know as five megabytes) for Super Streetfighter 2) could be as much as £50 on release! Not as egregious as some SNES pricing, though - £70 for a new game?! But I digress...

SimplyGames currently has it for £36.75 delivered.

Don't forget it's online-only, so you'll need a Gold subscription for as long as he plays it!

Many top games have millions of £'s spent of them now, gone are the days when they were made by a small team. Also games often subside consoles due to high production costs

I'm not sure why you're shocked, Titanfall is a AAA release, £44 is the usual RRP for these games.

As pointed out above, if you shop around online you can pick it up for cheaper.

Remember he has to have a live gold account because it is an online game.

I fell for all the hype about this game and downloaded it on release day, its not that good in my opinion.

Definitely worth picking it up for £35 on Amazon. I have it for the XbOne and thought it was a little samey at first but gets damn enjoyable and addictive! I got 13 months gold for £30 on Amazon too if its needed.

Argos have it for £27 at moment.

Its the modern world we live in at the moment. Game publishers and shops know that people are going to pay over the odds to get hold of the latest games. If your willing to wait then sooner or later offers or price reductions will kick in...
