Any diaries for teenagers?

I looked through a lot of threads on debt diarys and haven't seen any for a young person (age 18-25)
Just wondered if there was someone my age roughly in my situation, I'm currently 20 and already in knee deep debt.

Knee deep is OK, it's waist deep and rising you need to worry about!
Seriously, well done for getting here so early in life. Most people your age just carry on until a disaster happens.0 -
Thanks for the reply, I just wanted to start up a diary but seems majority of everyone here is older than 25ish (sorry all lol) and just wanted a bit of motivation from someone who roughly same age as me, that's all.
Unfortunately I took on debt when I was young and kept sticking to payday loans which didn't help. I now have 2 jobs, one full time and one part time to reduce the debt ASAP.0 -
Think a lot of us got in to debt at an early age but didn't face up to it until we were older ( wiser is debatable ) and neck deep in it.
Doesn't matter how old you are, there is in tonnes of support on here

I am impressed that, at such a young age, you are clearly already admitting that you have a problem and are trying to find a solution. I think you will sort this out and go on to be a MSE expert. Best wishes x.0

I'm 25, nearly 26, and was in about £1.5k debt when I was 20.
Debt was through unemployment (and, admittedly, being irresponsible). Didn't take me very long to become debt free once I secured an apprenticeship. What will your verse be?

Well done getting sorted now I wish me and my DH had `stopped` and `sorted things` at your age!!
Age really don`t come into it, you can learn a lot from us oldies, we were 20 and a majority were knee deep too

Im in the lower end of your scale, moving job and a tech addiction spurred 2 CC and an overdraft (7.5K at its worst) aside from a car.
I started to look at all my outgoing and to the penny I reduced them to the point where I'm not taking large chunks out of the highest APR, its simple really just need to stick with it and then be proud when you have a REAL available balance in your account0
