Employer withholding wages

Hi Guys, in need of some advise for my sister.
she recently came off job seekers and took a job in a beauty salon. Everything was going great and she loved the job. However when it came down to paying her wages that was another matter.
Firstly they advised that there was a problem with the bank. So she gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. Two weeks later and that's all she had was 50 pound cash of them to keep her going. It came to another pay day and still nothing.
She has been trying for weeks now to get her pay but they makes arrangements and then never turn up, or change it at the last minute. They are now ignoring all communication.they have given up the lease on the salon so she no longer has a job. There are other people that have worked there and the same happened.
Any advise on how she can get her wages from these people would be great. She never signed a contract and they didn't give her wage slips after repeated requests.

Only think I can advise, is to apply to court for wages, minus the £50, plus whatever NI conts would have been relevant.
This comes with no guarantee either.

It would depend largely if OP was PAYE or under RaC as SE.
What they claim could be different to what was agreed, if nothing was in writing.......💙💛 💔0
