Hi I was just wondering if anyone has ever been on inositol.
Im currently trying to lose weight but finding it hard to get those pounds to shift. I am disabled so unable to exercise, I also have polycystic ovaries so I have a few things going against me to lose the weight. I am on a calorie controlled diet of 1200 calories aday and take raspberry ketones twice a day..
Whilst having a nosey online for some help on how to lose weight I found an article on inositol supplements that are supposed to help aid weight loss and help with polycystic ovaries and was just wondering if anyone has used them and if they do any good before I buy them.
Thank you in advance

Hi, I've just seen this thread! I'm taking inositol powder at the moment, about 4gms a day, along with folic acid. I haven't lost any weight, but I am ovulating! :j
My cycles seem to be around 33 days, which is much better than the 30-65 days previously. My moods have also improved dramatically, I feel a lot more upbeat. I've not seen any improvement in the hair situation (body or head), but this is only my third month of taking it. I bought my powder on amazon, the powder is easier than the pills. It's pricey, but worth it.0 -
I personally think you're eating so little that your body is going into starvation mode...personal opinion ofc.
Good luck!
