TUPE rights - advice please

Hi
I work for a training provider. The company took over a local training company last year and set up a separate training company for all there members of staff. Myself and my colleagues who all started together, have different contracts to the tutors in the separate training company and we get paid more. However we are on a pay freeze until the other tutors reach the same level of pay which could take years. If any new members of staff are employed they will have contracts with lower pay in line with the separate training company I have been off unwell and I am on a phased return over 4 weeks. On my second day back, 20 May, I noticed in our online HR that my job title had changed. I have been sent to another office to work with one other colleague from the separate training company. She knew nothing about it. I emailed HR and my manager and got no reply. I have received a letter to my home to say from 1st May I was TUPE'd over to this other organisation.
Is this normal. Should I have been consulted. I don't have 2 years service yet for employment rights, could they change my pay. Any advice is appreciated.
